Paul is a UK based producer and screenwriter focused on developing short and feature scripts, adapting scripts from source novels as well as writing, directing and producing short and feature documentaries and explainer films for businesses, charities and arts organisations.
Recent film work includes documenatries Moon Palace, a Stargazers Journey for Sky Arts, Game Changer, funded with a Leeds City Council Cultural grant and Healthier Working Futures, a short explainer film for the NHS and UK Government.
In 2024 Paul wrote and produced Between, a short drama filmed in Leeds.
Recent screenwriting work includes adapting The Revue, from the source novel into a TV series and spec writing on projects Becoming Orwell (an adaptation), Within Walls (a short script) and All Revved Up and In the Stars (US TV movie scripts).
Paul has a long standing connection to ELP Films, a division of East Leeds Project C.I.C., have been a visiting Lecturer in Screenwriting at the University of Leeds and is currently Screenwriting Mentor at the Oakwood Film Academy.
