Big Stories Told Bold
Jugganort Films is a small but perfectly formed indie film production company, working with narrative and documentary films.
Founded by Paul Harker, an award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker, Jugganort collaborates with local filmmakers, producers, freelancers and creative organisations, including the East Leeds Project, LEEDSflix, the Oakwood Film Academy and the Movie Maniacs, to develop compelling and socially relevant storytelling.
Jugganort champions unique and impactful stories across documentary and narrative, particularly those rooted in working-class experiences, social change, and community engagement.
Jugganort has produced a range of notable works, including Moon Palace: A Stargazer’s Journey, which was broadcast on Sky Arts, Healthier Working Futures for the NHS and Leeds Care Academy, and KIOSK, a project for the East Leeds Project. In 2024, Jugganort released Between, a short narrative film that won four international film awards and was screened in LA, Manchester, Harrogate and Leeds.
Jugganort’s latest documentary, Game Changer, tells the inspiring story of Gian Singh Virdi, an 80-year-old Indian cricket coach whose leadership transformed a Yorkshire village cricket club.
