A new film from Jugganort Films
Breaking Boundaries is a short documentary film which came out of of the making of Game Changer, a film about an Indian cricket coach who was Yorkshire CCC’s first coach of colour and was then instrumental in the recruitment of Sachin Tendulkar as Yorkshire’s first overseas player.
In Breaking Boundaries, psychotherapist Gurchehn Singh and Crossgates UFCC coach Vinnie Patel talk about how the pressures of immigration, racism, cultural expectations and family pressures affect south Asian communities in the UK and how cricket can be utilised to relieve these pressures for all concerned.
